Home Industry

Are you constantly asked for the recipe of that great slice you make?
Are you the person that is always asked to knock something together for your local school?
Are you a cake decorating extraordinaire?

If so, Home Industry is the event for you!

2018 sees the return of this community-focused event after an incredibly successful launch in 2017.

Home Industry showcases all that is amazing about living in the isolated paradise of ours.

Home Industry celebrates the innovation and the ingenuity of our locals by pitting them against each other in traditional home based industry, such as baking, timber craft, gardening, photography, fabric work and metal work.

Take a look through the schedule online and we challenge you to enter a couple of categories with one of your amazing creations.

Home Industry is divided into two sections:

  • Junior Home Industry - open to all children in primary school and early years education.
  • Home Industry - open to all secondary children and adults.
