2018 sees the 2nd year of this community-focused event showcasing all that is amazing about living in the isolated paradise of ours.
The Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival is very excited to present – Home Industry.
This event celebrates the innovation and the ingenuity of our locals by lining them up against each other in traditional home based industry, such as baking, timber craft, gardening, photography, fabric work and metal work.

Delivery Of Exhibits:
Exhibits must be delivered to the Home Industry Marquee at Clem Thompson Oval during these times….

*Exhibits in the The Cake Tin, For Goodness Cakes and Junior Baking sections MUST be delivered to the Home Industry marque to ensure freshness on Festival Saturday between 6am and 7.30am
No late entries will be accepted for The Cake Tin, For Goodness Cakes and Junior Baking sections outside these specified hours due to judging needing to be concluded by 9.30am.
Collection of Exhibits:
You must collect your exhibit Sunday morning between 8am and 10am.
Please remember to collect your exhibit during these times to help the volunteer committee attend other tasks during festival pack up.

The Judges for this event are selected from community members who have specialised experience in the areas they are judging.
All judging will be completed ‘blind’. Exhibitor’s names will not be seen by the judges until after Judging has taken place.
Judging for all categories (excluding baking sections) will take place on Festival Thursday between 1pm and 3pm.
Exhibitors will be required to complete an “Image Release Form” granting permission for the festival committee to use photos of the exhibits and competitors for promotional material, including printed and electronic media.
All prize money can be collected from the Home Industry Organiser at the marquee, on Festival Saturday between 10am until 2pm or Festival Sunday between 8am and 10am.
You must collect your prize money during the specified times. All unclaimed prize money will be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service at the completion of Festival.
